Sr. Marketing Consultant

As a Sr. Consultant, you will provide leadership

for creating and implementing marketing strategies and systems for business unit products and services in a manner that aligns business unit strategic goals in a cost effective manner.

A Bachelor's degree and 6-8 years related experience is required.

Advanced knowledge of company and business unit products is also necessary, including plan design and investment knowledge.  A strong ability to influence, strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong presentation, negotiation, and leadership skills are musts.  Candidates should be able to build and maintain effective relationships, as well as be adaptable and flexible.

Computer skills and knowledge of business unit applications required.

Candidates must have good problem-solving, analytical, math and statistical skills and be able to maintain confidentiality.  Must be accurate and pay strong attention to details.  Overnight travel may be required.

Communications Consultant

In this position, you will support assigned business unit's department marketing strategies by developing and implementing communication plans and products, manage daily operation

of plans and projects, plus work with the department's leaders to assist them in communicating their product-service expertise to customers while promoting the company's brand image through printed and electronic marketing material.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent, plus 4-6 years related work experience is required, with a preference of 6-8 years of experience.  NASD Series 6 and Series 7 registrations preferred.  Candidates must be experienced in marketing, public relations, advertising or corporate communications, preferably with a financial services firm or advertising agency with similar client base.

A comprehensive understanding of marketing, advertising and  communication principles and the ability to apply them to work product is critical.  Prior leadership experience is preferred.  Knowledge of financial service products and markets (or the ability to obtain knowledge) is required.  Strong diplomacy skills, confidence and tact are critical. Ideal candidates must have excellent organizational, problem-solving, presentation and communication skills, along with strong basic analytical skills. 

Basic PC skills are required, along with a high degree of accuracy and strict attention to detail.  Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality is a must.  Travel required, including some overnight stays.
